Hydrographic Support Squadron
of the Polish Navy (HSS)

Hydrographic Support Squadron of the Polish Navy (HSS) belongs to the Chief in Command of the Polish Navy via Chief of Training PL Navy. HSS consists of three ships ORP ”ARCTOWSKI”, ORP ”HEWELIUSZ”, ORP ”ISKRA” and two cutters and three motor boats as well as Radionavigational Section, Topogeodesy and Transportation units.

Squadron is responsible for the hydro-navigational support of the Polish Navy according to the NATO as well as IHO Standards in co-operation with Hydrographic Office of the Polish Navy. Furthermore, HSS is involved in training at sea of the Naval Academy students.
